Omicron (B.1.1.529) variant: This is why we have quarantines for vaxxed people!! And why we test MULTIPLE times during quarantine.

(1) Two Hong Kong Omicron cases were in 2-vax-Pfizer people (May/June?) who tested negative at the begnning of quarantine.
(2) 18 and 19 Ct values (on day 4 and day 8 of quarantine). VERY HIGH viral load...especially for people who tested negative at the begnning of quarantine.
(3) 25 of 87 environmental samples from their quarantine rooms tested positive.
(4) Note: Hong Kong hospitalization doesn’t say anything about severity. Hong Kong hospitalizes ALL Covid people, even the asymptomatics.
My Opinion: I don’t think the “vaccine passport” for travelers idea is going to work very well.
Israel measured twice as many Covid cases in the vaxxed airline passengers as the unvaxxed airline passengers.
